I’ve pulled my old Mac based music studio out of storage and getting it set up. Just playing around with my 2 young girls at this stage so trying to optimise what I have.
Have 2 screens in the office and they are great. 24” is a huge step up from what I had in the early 2000’s but I’d love to try and get dual monitors working if possible.
Finding it all very confusing. I believe OSX supports it but I’m getting confused with which (if any) graphics card I can put in to 1 of the 2 slots I have available.
Can anyone help me? I assume:
1. That it’s possible, but maybe that’s incorrect
2. I need a new graphics card. Either an addition to the Rage card to run the new screen (extend) or a replacement for the rage that supports dual screens
3. I have been looking at Mac specific Radeon cards but the options are a bit beyond my understanding
4. I cannot see a pin layout on the cards that matches the spare slots I have.
This card seems to not fit the slots above
If someone can help me out with some education that would be fantastic.
