[QUOTE="rabbitjetta, post: 1565733, member: 178362"] I have been having the same issue with my 2012 retina pro. Its a 3GHz i7 with the 512GB SSD and 8GB of ram and it freezes up on my every time I try and use it. I have tried repairing the disk permissions and the disk as well as several software restores. It only does it on Mavericks and its a very frustrating problem. If I boot into windows on the boot camp partition it is fine and I can run it for as long as I want with no issue. I feel if I spent 2,600 on a machine it should at least work but I may be wrong. I love apple and fix them all the time but this issue has been driving me crazy and I cannot figure out. I took it to an apple store and they ran tests on it and could find nothing wrong with it. Its gotten to the point that I only use my old HP PC because while it may be slower at least I can get my work done and save it without having to worry about it freezing all the time.
