File location

MacBook Air M1 - Not sure if I can describe this effectively but I open documents and then do a search. I see the result but not where the file is located but I am presuming it is in documents. I then go back to documents but do not see the file at all?

If you right click on the document, you can select Get Info, and it should tell you where the document is located.

It may be stored in your iCloud Documents folder.

Also, enable the Path Bar in Finder View options on top. That way, you can click on any file and see the full directory path at the bottom.
