I can't recommend anything with the Samsung name on it. While I am willing to admit they do make some nice electronics, you also need to be forewarned that they have absolutely the worst customer service in the industry. (Unless they're doing something different over there than they do here in the U.S.) Personally, nothing with that brand name on it will enter my house until that changes. If you're looking at the Samsung because they are the only one making an HDTV in the 26" size at 1080 vs 720 from the other manufacturers, I'd suggest you look at computer monitors with input connections that will allow you to connect your Xbox, etc. up to it. There are many monitors today that have VGA, DVI-D and HDMI connections to allow for multiple devices being attached to them. Take a look at the devices you need to connect and find out what available outputs they have so that you are educated up front when you go looking for a screen. If your requirement is that it have a built in over-the-air tuner, then I'd recommend looking at Panasonic, Sony, Hitachi and Toshiba televisions. They all have some nice panels. You could maybe toss LG into the mix if you have them there.
