I would like to use griffin firewave to play DVD-A discs back in 5.1 dolby digital, but what I'd like to do it also take advantage of the higher resolution audio thats on the discs. The players I have , vlc and the standard apple dvd player, will only play the reduced resolution audio. I recently found out that the DVD-authoring is now done on apple, so I can't understand why there is no player out that can do this. Does someone know how to do it other than running windows through virtual PC and using a windows player?
