Your Mac's Specs
mini M1 16 gig and Air 2018 8 gig
The Viewsonic 2456 model I have is HDMI,Displayport and VGA.If I use the Displayport will I notice a degrade in browsing screen quality...not gaming...??
I could use to free up the HDMI for a TV connection....
and is the VGA good for anything I would use????

Displayport is a digital input that should be at least as good as HDMI.

VGA is a legacy analog input that is just there as a fallback failsafe if you can't attach by any other means.
