Not sure where to post his so if there is some other forum, post it there.
Looking to buy 1 or 2 dashboard cameras for my SUV. Not sure how they turn on or off (ignition?) or what brands are more reliable.
Any comments or suggestions from those who may have them would be appreciated.

I don't have any with either of our cars but I have been looking occasionally and there are lots of options out there.

Probably best to start with a web search, and add any particulars you might want or need, but you could start here:

I guess no members have any recommendations...

I haven't checked with my insurance company or local police forces to see if they have anything to suggest, as they are often asking for dash cam footage, maybe they have some experience they could extend. Just a thought...
