My machine was only 25 days old and I finally after showing them on repeated visits repeated kernel panics talked them into giving me a new machine. I'm happy because it was a processor bump and more RAm and bigger HD. BUT guess what same identical problem. Is that insane? Front Row>DVD>Kernel Panic every time. Now What do I take bake my 5 day old notebook and say hey the problem still isn't fixed? I guess its a "Hurry up and wait" situation for the firmware update. Until then I'm sending every report to apple and urge everyone thats having this problem to do the same. I have 2X2B sticks of Crucial memory in there and that seems to be the problem but I don't think its the RAM, honestly with all the complaints I think its the video card. Regardless I hope Apple fixes it soon.
