[QUOTE="Rick T, post: 1560578, member: 275248"] I was successfully scanning from a Canon D420 to my mid-2012 MacBook Pro (OS X 10.8.5) awhile back, but tried to today and cannot get it to work. When I select the printer and click "open scanner" the gray scanner box opens, but the "Scan" button remains gray and non-functional. The printer is connected via USB cable and turned on and in scan mode. I did the following several times: 1. Reloaded two drivers from Canon: Mac_UFRII_Ver1030_02 and Mac_ScanGear_V210(1).dmg 2. Deleted and re-added printer. It has been a long time since I first scanned from this printer and I do not recall doing anything different than what is described above, but I must be missing something somewhere. Any ideas?
