Hallo,

I've problem to connect to my PHP server(Mamp pro), after searched a lot online and read whole documentation regarding to Mamp pro still i can't get to the Server, the last idea i found it's; maybe changing the DNS(8.8.8.8) that help me.

Now my question, is there any problem if i change DNS on macbook pro?
Thanks.

Welcome to our forums.

There should be no problem changing the DNS settings on your MacBook Pro. However, some routers will not shift the DNS settings unless you go into them via their access menu and change it to the same as your MacBook Pro. Routers that resist DNS change settings are usually supplied by your ISP (rented router).

How are you trying to connect ? What protocol / application ?
Can you ping the server ( i.e. do you have basic network connectivity ? )
Open the console app ( Applications utilities ) and see what is logged there when you try to connect.

If PING is successful then you need to look at the application.
Can you make a connection using MySQL ( outside of the application INNODB )
Does your application have its own logfile ?

The application you talk about, is Mamp pro(php server), and looks everything

is correct configured,

It has its owen Log files and here i post you the three Log files i got, and also you see the

PHP log file is empty, i don’t know why.

You say if i can connect using the mysql( outside of the application INNODB ), i don’t know how can i do that.

I hope you’ve quite information and that helps

I think something is wrong with versions of the application you are using.
Can you verify the compatibility of the applications with the OS X version you are running ?

The app. is not the only thing that you are using .... according to the logs , many other components are loaded as well ( plugins ? )
They all need to be compatible with El Capitan.

I am only trying to eliminate a few things .... I am not an application expert :)

Cheers ... McBie
