Hi, I've a 27" iMac, OS 10.6.8, I've wifi and ethernet connection OK in OSX, but when I switch to Windows XP (SP2) bootcamp, the only way I can get connected to internet is by using ethernet cable, now that I moved the router few meters away from the iMac I would need to use wifi connection in XP, when I go to "network connections" I can see the little wifi Icon but it has a red cross on it, if I go to "see wifi connections" I can see my router and all bars are full green but when I click on "connect" a pop up windows with a little animation trying to connect to the net appears and after 5 or 6 seconds it says "that there is a problem trying to connect to that network, It could be far away etc" (sorry or something like that, I can't remember) the thing is that although I see the router I can't establish the connection. It has WPA2 encryption (password) that works ok on OSX but the problem is Windows XP in wifi mode, what's happening?? I tried to change to WPA, WPA2, OPEN, etc on network preferences (windows side) but I got the same problem. How can I get ride of the red cross over the wifi network icon?? The strangest is that I can see the Atheros network icon OK in "DEVICE MANAGER" windows. I've installed latest version of Atheros (Atheros_ar5xxx_7.7.0.466-xp(Station-Drivers: le site de drivers, bios, firmwares avec un forum d'aide) 10/2012, but nothing happens, red cross in wifi network icon. HELP! thanks
