A nice image. The white prices are the prices of the prices in local currencies. The yellow prices are the local prices turned into euros with the exchange rate. And on the right side are the actual euro prices. So you can see using the euro exchange rate the cheapest ipads. And going by that the cheapest places to get an ipad are starting at the cheapest. it's a nice way to compare ipad prices using the Euro as the base. Japan (3G) (cheapest) USA (with sales tax factored in I think) Australia Switzerland Canada Japan (Wi-Fi) and Euro (Spain) Euro (Italy and France) UK Euro (Germany) (Most expensive) So it might pay to look to another country to get your ipad. Assuming the Wi-Fi and 3G (of the overseas model) is compatable in your country. And the New Zealand people might want to use an Aussie mate to get an ipad. And I see the NZ ipad costing a lot more. ************* And here is another nice article on the subject Steve Jobs Weighs in on iPad International Pricing and Taxes
