I'm pulling my hair out a bit here... I've read up on multiple support documents, other forums yada yada, and technically speaking, I can see no reason for my setup to fail like this, unless the Airport Utility preferences is holding the options back vs the old version? The external drive is formatted as HFS Journaled (extended). I've tried reaching the router via finder "connect to server" with "afp://10.0.1.1" and get a message saying that it doesn't exist. I then try to browse, which brings me to the "Networks" directory and there is nothing at all in there. I do of course have the sidebar and desktop preferences set to show connected servers, yet there is nothing that shows up under "shared" at all. And in Airport Utility, under Disks, there's a big fat nothing. This is bugging me to no end, and I'm pretty sure it was working previously under Lion. Pretty darned sure. Doug
