Advice on Externeal NVME Drives

I need extra storage and high speed as using audio and video files and have been recommended an external nvme drive - can anyone advise the best to get. I need 1 TB

What Mac do you have? What is your budget? Do you have a preference for interface (USB3, TB, USB-C, etc.)

Its a macbook pro 2017 with 3 thunderbolt 3 posts. Budget, I dont want budget as I DJ & also produce music & video, although top end would be too much through these time. thanks

By budget, I meant how much are you looking to spend? That will determine if you go with a regular USB3 interface or the more expensive TB interface.
