adobe Let me try and phrase it differently. I tried what you said and it saved it as a website not a pdf. Lets say for instance I want to look and save a pdf on medical protocols. I google. that and a website: http://www.dtic.mil/cgi-bin/GetTRDoc?AD=ADA480272, comes up, I like it and I want to save it, or any pdf maybe from a medical journal. I go to file, save as, and try to save it as a pdf to my desktop and get this message:The document “2009_uniform_poster.pdf” could not be exported as “2009_uniform_poster”. So then I've read that sometimes you can hit print and a screen will come up and you can actually end up previewing it in pdf and then save to your computer however sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Now I've just done this last part and it saved a blank pdf document to my desktop. I'm trying to save the actual pdf not a website so that when I'm somewhere where there is no internet service I can pull up the document.
