Let me try to answer: The TV shows are the only items that I have bought. The music is all ripped from my CD collection, the movies are ripped from my movie collection. The TV shows were bought under the only itunes account that we have, the same itunes account that home sharing is set up under, etc. We bought the tv shows in the US and I don't know that I have made any changes to the itunes account to indicate to apple that we are now in South Africa. Interesting point. I have never actually tried to play the episodes on itunes on the mbp. My kids never actually use the computer so I have never had the opportunity. The TV shows were originally purchased on our ipad and then transferred to the mbp from the ipad. They do play on the ipad(2). I will try that if I have the opportunity. Our internet is so spotty that I end up using my iphone's mobile hotspot function most of the time. It makes downloading and updating very challenging. If our internet connection suddenly starts working I will try to download something small and try to play it. After writing this, maybe it has to do with the fact that we bought the content on the ipad2 and then transferred it to itunes? I do know that it is all the same itunes account. Or maybe it is a south africa regional thing? Thanks for the help
