[QUOTE="JayTuk, post: 783426, member: 80972"] Hey, I've seen a few threads similar to this, but all seem to be unanswered, or the problem is slightly different to mine. I have a few problems which I will list now and any suggestions will be greatly appriciated. Basically I have a macbook, and have recently purchased the Logitech G51 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers. The first problem that I encountered was that through iTunes, the sound was only being sent through the front two speakers and the sub. I read online a guide on how to set my macbook to 5.1 through Audio MIDI Setup, however I was unable to select the 5.1 setting because my macbook wasn't supporting 6 channels. I thought that the problem may be due to not having a suitable sound card. I checked back on the amazon page that I purchased the speakers from and it stated that a requirement for mac's is a sound card with atleast 6 channels. If I buy an external sound card with 6 channels, will I be able to listen to iTunes music through my 5 speakers and the sub? Is there a specific external sound card that anyone suggests I get for my mac? Can I get it to work without the purchasing of a sound card? Can I do this without having to purchase different cables. If you need me to elaborate my problem any further then simply request and I will be happy to speak over an IM so you could help me quicker.
