Hi there experts! ;D Got some Garageband 8 questions for you. So I have a project in which I'm splicing together various different "regions" of REAL instruments which I imported into GB. Each region was made from a different "take" of the same song, and now I'm trying to put the best parts of each take together. 1) Is there any way to make an Effect (e.g. the "echo" effect) effect ALL regions globally, even if they're on separate "tracks"? I find that even if I "select all" regions, the "echo" effect will only effect one track at a time. So whatever regions are not on that track will not be effected. Which leads to problem 2: 2) I tried "joining" the regions, but I can't because they are on different tracks. When I try lifting all the regions into one, single track, it screws up all my edits, and the splicing doesn't flow as well. So is there anyway to "join" regions that are on different tracks? 3) At the end of my composition, there is a blank gray area, without audio. It runs on well after the song if over. HOW DO I GET RID OF IT! I cut up my audio regions and made sure that no audio was "hidden", but the blank space is still there, and I can't get rid of it. Thanks O:)
