To anyone who can help me... I downloaded both the 10.6.3 OS X update and new iTunes via Software Update before heading to bed last night and chose to Install/Shut Down. When I woke up this morning I noticed my iMac was still on but with a black screen. I tried moving the mouse and pressing many buttons but nothing happened. I decided to hold the button on the back to turn it off. I waited a few minutes and turned it back on. I took a shower and when I came back 15 minutes later it was on the white screen with the gray apple. I let it sit for a few more minutes but it never moved past this screen (the wheel just kept spinning). I had to leave for work so I wasn't able to resolve the problem. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? If so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
