Actually, that won't work with most Macs, Joeytpg. You need QuickTime Pro in order to do that, for some strange reason.

    "for some strange reason."

It's not strange: The reason is MONEY!

Seems odd that I spend such a large amount of money on a computer and then I have to spend a tiny bit more just to finish it off.

Well, you get a couple more features than just fullscreen mode with Quicktime Pro. Just check it at the Apple website...

My QT Pro came with FCP 4.0, but ya that's how you full screen it. I've never heard that you can't full screen it if you don't have pro. Heh, that's kinda dumb

I think it's bull**** how they do that, Windows users have been using fullscreen for ages for FREE.

    Yeah, agreed

With QT pro, you can also download movies directly to your hard drive, as well as a few other things. But sadly you can't go fullscreen with normal QuickTime.

I have a way for it to go full screen....without spending any money...using regular Quicktime.....

I read this in macworld magazine. It instructed readers to write an apple script file containing some stuff...I wrote the file and tested it, and have posted it on my web server.(http://www.bamerige.com/Downloads option click [download]on fullscreen)

Just put the file somewhere you'll remember it.

Launch QT movie, do not play or anything, then double click fullscreen.

IT will go full screen for the movie, and will exit back to your workspace automatically..

If you'd like to write the apple script for yourself, here is the code:

    tell application "QuickTime Player"
    activate
    present
    end tell

It does seem to easy doesn't it? Hmm...Maybe Apple wanted us to know this....
