My 2.4 MBP will take a little longer to come (it really is torture isn't it?!); however I WILL be celebrating with you on the 16th... for entirely different reasons, obviously, and if all goes to plan, I won't remember any of it!

Well, I was gonna get the 120GB HDD version so I could get it in the store, but they had ZERO MBP in stock . Not a single one. I figured if I had to wait, i'd upgrade the HDD since I am gonne be running Parallels.

Unless Macworld is tomorrow, there's no point in waiting. There will always be something "new" coming soon. If you take that stand, you'll be waiting forever.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong, because Apple just upgraded the MBPs in June. If anything happens with them before 2008, it will be very minor.
