Hi, I just bought a used iBook G4. The average battery life, according to the seller, is 2 hours. I'd like to make it last longer than that.

I know that turning off bluetooth and dimming the screen down all the way will save battery life, but I am not sure how to turn off bluetooth. Can you help?
Also, is there anything else (except for turning off wifi, but I need that,) that will help save my battery?

did iBooks even have bluetooth? I don't think they did.

Dim the screen, turn off wifi, don't use iTunes or watch any movies off your hard drive. Anything that spins the drive will use power.

I could, however, use an external drive and still save battery life- correct?

If you really wanted to - you could buy a new battery. Google "Nupower Battery"
