    The MacBook is
    Hi!

I'm new to this forum and although i don't own a mac (yet!) i had a play with a black MacBook today and i was very impressed.
So im putting some money aside for one. :dive:
it'll probably take me an age to save for one. but ill get one eventually!
I also used an ancient iMac in a cafe today. Still rather good even if they're old

    anyways,

    cheers!
    dan

Thanks for popping in - the MacBook Black is very sexy indeed.

I sometimes wonder if I should have got the white one. The black one has a sort of matte finish but the white one looks shiny.

    Oh well, too late now.

The white one is far too easy to scratch, I was frightened to pick it up until I got a Speck case for it.

    LOL.

I like black, but all the leads and accessories are white.

Black version comes with higher spec too. It's only the finish that I would change. You really do need to wash your hands and not sweat to use a black one without making it look grubby.

You'd think the marketing geniuses at Apple would make an in-between gray one to satisfy everyone.

There is a new white one at my Apple store and it looks just lovely. But the well-used one at a big box store looks terrible. It is filthy and grungy now.

For the looks i'd go for White but for practicality i'd go for the black.
