    mac pro RAM controversy
Hey all, im new to this forum but joined because i wanted to check this over...
ars-technica posted an article saying that intel are dropping the FB-DIMM format compleatly by 2008. this seems very strange and im beggining to wonder what position the mac pro will be in during that year, especially seeing as ive just spent pretty much all my savings on one!

    any comments?

I dont know about that article as I haven't read it but you shoould be fine, it's not like Intel is gonna sneak into your Mac and remove the FSB rendering your machine unusable.

2008, they may drop support, but you will still be able to buy the ram from stores and any new mac's will just use what ever new ram they want to use...
