I just got my mac mini. I am trying to burn some photos and videos onto a CDR disc. I understand how to burn cds, however my mini refuses to read my blank CDRs. Are there certain type or brands that we have to use for the mac. I inserted a Memorex CD-R and the computer would not read it. I had to restart the computer to get it to eject. The computer prompted me and said the disk was unreadable. What kinds or brands are you guys using?

A lot of people swaer by Memorex. I use Verbatim, TDK, and imation. You may have a bad disk like nickster9224 suggested.

Like RMan I have had really good luck with Imation and TDK for CDR's and Verbatim for DVDR/W's. Never had a problem using any of them.
