Useful book - Switch from PC to Mac.
    Hello friends,

I trust it is ok for me to post this thread.

In the post today I received a book through Amazon UK. It's called Switch from PC to Mac. ISBN 9781541030916.

I haven't read it yet, but I'm assuming it is full of useful information.

Of course. Not too many subjects that are totally taboo. And the "Switcher Hangout" area is the perfect place.

I hope you didn't pay good money for this book. We would have given you all you needed to know for free! Lol But understandable if you like to read.

Hello Nick, yes, I like to read, but haven't read it yet, concentrating on my health.

I've also bought a new magazine - Mac for Beginners. Maybe I'll look at it tomorrow; try and figure out, if I can understand it!

For mine, David Pogue's "Missing Manuals" fill the bill. Here is a link to the OS X.12 version and with a search you may be able to find a copy locally.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
