Could anyone help me, recently my Macbook pro has been playing up and i have been receiving annoying pop up's from "consumer survey group" either when the mouse drags across certain parts of the screen or when i open a link it will direct me to this bogus site,
i have googled it and it seems to be quite well known.
I have deleted cookies and history, and blocked pop ups and have also downloaded mac keeper anti virus which hasn't flagged any problems,
If anyone could help me with this i would be extremely grateful.

If you use Safari for your browser, download Adblock and give it a try. It works great for me. A better piece of advice is to uninstall Mac Keeper immediately. It is the consensus of this forum that this is almost malware in itself and causes more problems than it solves. Do a forum search to find the instructions for a complete uninstall. Really, the Mac Keeper needs to go in my opinion.

There is currently another new thread on here where one of the experts considers Mac Keeper to be scamware and encourages the OP to avoid it "like the plague".

You should uninstall MacKeeper immediately! I know they have ads on this forum, but that is not an endorsement by any stretch of the imagination.

I think you may have misread our posts. We are encouraging you to UNinstall MacKeeper.
