I put the CD in the SuperDrive and iTunes opened. I choose the option to import the CD and iTunes showed the list of songs on the CD and the green checks appeared next to all of the songs. Then I clicked the eject thing on iTunes and the CD came out. However, the music doesn't show up in my library. If I search for it, I can see it, but once I try to click on the picture or title of the album it just redirects me to the page where it says "Music" and gives me the option of buying from the iTunes store or scanning for music.

Did you wait for it to import the tracks?

It can take a while, 5-10 minutes to import the entire CD.

When you insert a CD and allow iTunes to import it, you should see the import bar move across the top of the screen for each song. As the songs are imported they should show up in your library as checked. I haven't done this with iTunes 11 yet so I don't know if the process is the same as iTunes 10.

Do you by any chance have your music on an external drive or network device such as a Time Capsule? If you do was that drive turned on when you launched iTunes and imported the CD? If not iTunes will use the music stored the iTunes folder on your main hard drive (inside the folder with your username).
