OSX email w/hotmail

I can't seem to open web links while using the email app on my MBP.

I'm running Mountain Lion. If I log into my hotmail account in Safari everything seems to work just fine. No problems logging in that I've found that other people have had. It's all kinds of links. This is an example. It's the same error message every time.

I think, you can fix this by resetting what application should open when you click a link.
Open Safari, preferences, general: Default webbrowser> click on "Select…" navigate to Safari or another browser if you want and hit enter.

Thank You McYukon! That worked great. For some reason Google Chrome was set as the default web browser and I don't have it installed on my Mac. Switched it to Safari and all is well.
