switcher/msn messenger/itunes

I am about to switch to the new iMac and can't wait.
I have a couple of questions as I am currently a pc user.
I do alot of talking on msn messsenger to friends and people I know. Will i still be able to interact with these people on msn messenger or not??

Second question is regarding the itunes/ipod combi. Myself and my wife have very different tastes in music and both have a new ipod (thanks to tax free shopping). I have never plugged the ipod into an imac with itunes and was wondering how we go on keeeping our music collections seperate?? Afterall I don't particulalry want to be listening to the choice of music she has. Is there a simple way of doing these if it can be done at all.

msn messenger is available for mac


for iTunes, seperate your music into playlists, and then put your playlist on your ipod, and her playlist on her ipod, this is what I do with my wife, because like you, we listen to some different stuff also.

and i personally find msn messenger (generally appalling) more appealling on the mac version. same goes for micro$oft apps, for some reason they look so much better and a bit more inviting on the mac.

Seriously have you ever heard 'An Apple every day, keeps the doctor away'? That's what it's like switching to a mac. Trust me (happy switcher for a month now).
