    Question about Safari
I literally just turned my mac on... this is the first time I have ever used one!

How do I view YouTube videos? Do I just download flash?

There's no need to install Flash to view YouTube videos. It will fall back to HTML5 if Flash is not present.

You can also install a free extension to Safari that forces HTML5 on YouTube. This reduces the load on your processor which makes the fans run less.

As far as I know, YouTube only falls back to the HTML5 version (if it's available) if you've joined the beta.

LoganTyler: If you have Flash installed, you have everything you need.

Except that HTML5 doesn't always seem to play well with Safari for some reason - I find myself resuming flash frequently or pasting the link over to FF, although, since switching to Lion I haven't had to - but that was just a few days ago.
