Upgrading Hard Drive - MacBook Pro 13" mid 2009
I currently have a 13" MacBook Pro mid 2009. I am wanting to upgrade to a bigger HDD from the 250Gb originally installed.

I am seeking the best advice on what size, brand and speed HDD I can upgrade to. I know that I can only fit a 2.5" wide x 9.5mm thick HDD

    Computer specs:
    Model Identifier: MacBookPro5,5
Processor: 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Memory: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB
    Software: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74)

Your help is greatly appreciated, thank-you!

I went with a 500GB hybrid and did not have any problems with it.

Here is my post about my experience with the HDD and RAM upgrade:
    13" MPB, 16GB RAM, 1TB; 15" MBP, 2.4 GHz, 8 GB RAM; MBA
iPod Classic (7th generation); iPad Mini, 64GB Cellular (1st generation)
iPhone 5, iPhone SE, iPhone 4
