Hi Guys,
I am not sure that this is the right place to ask but I know that smart guys watch this particular forum so, with a bit of luck, one will see this.
I have a 512mb CF card that I wish to format to FAT16.
I have a USB CF reader that allows me to see the card and view any files on it.
Is this possible?
Cheers,
Steve

Yes, in disk utility you can format it to FAT no problem at all.
Have the card plugged in to the reader and connected to the Mac, open disk utility, select the card in the left hand panel, and then select erase. From the drop down menu you get an option of formats, of which FAT is one. Click erase and that's it.
