Thread: I deleted my Virtual Machine

The VM Fusion files.....I deleted them by mistake, are in the trash but there's no "undelete" option. What do I do?A righteous man has regard for the life of his animal (Proverbs 12:10)

If you're running 10.6 - open the trash - right click on the file and select 'Put Back'
On 10.5, you'll have to drag and drop the file back where you deleted it from.
If you deleted it from inside VMWare - I don't know.I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.

bobtomay and vansmith are right. It doesn't matter if you deleted it from inside Fusion or from the Finder. It's in the Trash. In 10.5, drag it back to the ~/Documents/"Virtual Machines" folder. In 10.6, just right click on the VM file in the trash and select "Put Back".
