Can I use my External HD to switch?
I'm waiting on my iMac and was wondering if I can back my PC files up to my Maxtor external HD and then use it to copy all my files to the mac.

    Will the mac recognize it?

If not, what's the best way to go from one to the other without spending $59 on the switch software?

    Thanks!
