    Specs:
    Apple lle 64 kb RAM
    PowerBook G4 date & time error
    Ever time I power on my PB it tells me that the date is set before March 2001 and that in need to change it because it might effect some programs and every time i have to go in to preferences and reset my time and date from march 1969 to the current date, anywho does anyone know what might cause this and how to fix it?
    mac- i was too lazy to hit the shift button
    MAC- Oops must have hit the caps button
    Mac- Just a computer

    Sounds like the Pram battery needs replaced.

    Agreed, sounds like the PRAM battery. Which model Powerbook is this? What are it's specs?

    1.5 GHz 2 GB DDR SDRAM PowerBook5,6 OS x 10.4.11

    Find your exact model here and go to Pram battery. It will give you detailed instructions on replacing it.
