Need a little help..

I just bought a Macbook Air.. I have a G4 Powerbook and want to transfer some things over, not everything as I like to start with a clean machine. How do I go about migrating both my Itunes and IPhoto. I want to be able to open them on the new Air and have them just as before with all songs and photos.

I'm not too familiar with the air, does it have a firewire connection?
