Converting video file to iPod

Just got an ipod touch... Does anyone know what program is good for a mac to convert .avi or .mpgs to an ipod format?

Try the free iSquint or ffmpegX. Another great program that isn't free is VisualHub

How many times do I have to say this? Handbrake is NOT for converting files, it's for ripping DVDs.

It converts files... sort of conversion!
