My daughter and I (both MAC newbies) are trying to figure out how to get a full screen while browsing.
The 13" screen is small enough, but the browser only covering about 2/3 of the screen is annoying.

I don't see any buttons on the right side of the browser.
The only thing I can do is to drag the lower right corner of the window to stretch it.

Safari does not have a full screen view.

You might give Opera a try.

Firefox probably does also, just don't know since I don't use it.

Thanks.
I wonder why they left that feature out of Safari? I would think maximizing the window would be a useful feature.

Different mindset in Safari development.

Feeling that you only need it as wide as is necessary to view the page.
Leaves the rest of the screen for multi-tasking with other things going on.

Using a full screen option is pointless and a useless annoyance in my opinion. If you use "full screen" on almost any application on a mac you are rendering the drag and drop interface useless. Its like that for a reason. I think when you become more used to your mac, you will feel the same.

Plus, when you make it full screen, the window gets bigger, but everything inside it stays the same size.
