For a Mac Pro it is a very fair price and will run the next OS Snow Leopard OS X.6. As the release date of Snow Leopard, anticipated June, gets closer more folk will be tending to update their Mac Pro desktop.
No processor updates just yet but check out this link, but would sure kick that memory up:-
