Hi guys,

My laptop which is quite old now - needs the battery replacing - which I haven't gotten round to do yet, so is constantly plugged in.

I've been having problems turning it on and booting it up, it stays on the gray screen and nothing happens.

I've tried apple+s, to start applejack - it worked once. But when I booted up next time I got the gray screen again.

I've apple+s it again and its working away, but have millions of lines of below:
IOATAController device blocking bus.

I'm not very technical, so if anyone has any advice, PLEASE help me - I really need to fix my mac.

Many thanks!

Shame you didn't get a reply there mate.

I have the oldest of oldest PowerBooks and I love it but I dropped it and it will boot-up but will not show anything ont he screen.

I then get a female version of Dr Stephen Hawkings telling me there is a problem with Internet Explorer.
