Hey everyone

When I put in the leopard installation disc it runs, but won't let me install anything because it says you must have OSX 10.4 to run leopard. But I have 10.4.11 that is what is says what I look at the "About this Mac". I have an almost new black MacBook. What should I do?

Thanks

G'day and welcome to the forums the pair of you.

First off what type of Leopard install discs are you using? Sounds like you are using an upgrade disc from a different machine. If you want to put Leopard on, and your machine did not come with leopard, you need to purchase the full install DVD known as the Retail Version.

Upgrade or systems discs from another model will not usually wqork.
