including stuff to TM (instead of excluding)

anyway to do so? ive only got a small partitioned HD that i would like to use to backup documents and important files. in options, i can only choose to exclude stuff, but i dont know really what to exclude to make it fit.

Unfortunately, Time Machine doesn't have an option for you to choose which folders to backup, simply which ones NOT to backup.

I would suggest excluding every folder except for the ones that you want backed up. Generally these include the Documents, Music, Movies, and Downloads folders.
