I have a home networks with windows pc's and a broadband router. I'm pretty sure that the mac cant detect the pc's but i cant seem to be able to get it to work with the router. In the networks settings i can fill most of it in but i dont know what the dns servers is. I got the IP address and subnet mask all filled in.

I have mine set to DHCP. The router should give each comp an ip address. Shouldn't need to worry about DNS.

Is this one of those internet routers? Check the book for the internal web pages to see how it's set up.
