2 PCs, 2 iPods with same iTunes Store account possible?

I just bought an iTouch and followed the instructions to create an iTunes Store account and 'assigned' my iTouch to the account. Then it occured to me that I should probably be using my wife's account instead so we don't have to buy the same songs twice. She has had an iPod Shuffle for awhile now. I have only ripped some CDs on my PC so far and haven't bought any songs on my new account yet so I don't mind abandoning it.

So my question is, can we easily share the same iTunes Store account if we each have our own PC and our own iPod? I don't know if this helps or not but one PC has Windows XP and the other has Vista and the PCs are on a home network.
