My daughter's Dell desktop is on it's last leg and I am considering getting her a MacBook.
Is the lowest price MacBook have enough in it to handle a teen's instant messaging, ITunes, etc...?
Also, her computer has always been hard wired to the network router. Can it still be hard wired with the Mac Book?

Your Mac's Specs
iMac Core Duo 20", iBook G4, iPhone 8GB :)
1) Yes, it is more than good enough for teen usage.
2) It does not have a DVD writer, so just be sure that is cool with the teen
3) It can be hard wired using LAN, no probs there. Just plug and surf.

yep just make sure that the Combo drive is enough, she might want a Superdrive as it does give you the ability to burn DVDs. i was going to get a Combo drive but i am very glad i didn't...i think going with a Superdrive is worth the extra money.
