iTunes - Alphabetical Order

I have looked through the posts to see if this has been posted before, but I could not see anything that related to my problem....sorry if this is a repeat.

I can import my songs into iTunes as normal (from CD), but once it has imported the CD, it puts the tracks in alphabetical order rather than in the order of the album. This means that tracks play in the wrong order, which is annoying when some of the tracks that should lead into each other, don't. I have looked through all the settings to alter this, but I obviously cannot see for looking!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried clicking on the column that isn't titled (far left)? That should sort by track number.

Don't know how I managed to alter the settings before, but at least this has worked.

also if its in order by album it puts them in track order.
