ok, I am trying to change the splash screen for an application, and I have a hex editor open... I even found the file (.png) I am a little stuck here. Does anyone know how to go about opening this file from the hex editor? Thanks!

To be honest, you don't even need to use a hex editor, if you right click on the application icon and go down to "show package contents" and then go to resources, the image files will be in the folder, usually labeled resources you can then just replace the image to your custom one.

Edit : I actually did something like I mentioned above, I have been working on making GarageBand more like a pro app. http://www.ghostknox.com/imagehost/uploads/1f77373664.png
