The PowerBook that im getting has AirPort Extreme built-in. If i get the main AirPort Extreme equipment(the router dome-thing) and i put a dial-up cable into it, will i be able to get wireless dial-up?

yes

Make sure you buy a base station with a 56k modem in it. Wireless is great, I'm using wireless dialup on a airport extreme base station right now.

Ok thanks for that. I was wondering "what is the point of the base station, if i dont have DSL?" Well now i know that Dial-up can be wireless.

I have another question. Can AirPort Extreme make a dial-up connection faster than 56K?

Thanks again :)

Speed Limit

Sorry but your not gonna get any faster than 56k on any dial-up connection. The dial-up modems are 56k so that is the max speed. If you even get that your lucky in my opinion, every house I've tried dial-up at has maxed out at a mere 4 or 5k.
