I am new to Mac computers and this is my first post so I hope I am doing it right and in the right place. But anyway is there a way to check on what updates have been installed on my iMac? Is there a log or somewhere where I can see all the updates that I have installed? The reason I ask this is because I don't want to download an update from a mac update website if I already have it on my computer. Thanks for a reply.

You can use System Profiler in the Utilities folder. (applications/utilities)

Okay thanks for the information. I am learning a little bit every day about the Mac computer. So far the transition from windows has gone pretty smoothly.
